Moses W. Katasi

Katasi commenced his physiotherapy career after gaining several years of training and experience in adults and children’s medical, surgical, neurological, cardiorespiratory and orthopedic physiotherapy.
He was privileged to volunteer as a physiotherapist at Port Reitz District Hospital – Mombasa, and at the same time appointed a Resident Physiotherapist at Mikindani Hospital – Mombasa.

His passion in sports trailed him to worka as a sports physiotherapist for the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) – Mombasa, the Mombasa Rugby Team and Mombasa Sports Club (MSC).

He worjed as a physiotherapist at Chiropractic and Physiotherapy Health Centre(s) (Karen & Westlands) – Nairobi. Katasi is very passionate about the philosophy of creating an active approach to physiotherapy and changing the perspective of physiotherapy practice locally, and to the World Physiotherapy practice globally in correlation to research evidence practice in the field. His philosophy resulted in early stand-out and outstanding reputation as a clinician at a younger age and he pioneered for physiotherapy institutions setups in Nairobi and Mombasa – Kenya. His success and dedication to the profession is continuing as he was appointed a Consultant Physiotherapist at Bliss Medical Centre(s), one of the largest outpatient centers in Kenya. Further than that he is now the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Houghton Medical Centre – Nairobi. He envisions his career to be a clinical specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy at the time when he is enriching his studies and clinical expertise at AMREF International University.
